Our Story
In 2002, we founded the US Half Marathon across the Golden Gate Bridge in partnership with the 2012 bid to bring the Olympic Games to San Francisco. Today, the same team, now based in Oakland, worked with nearly a dozen entities over 11 months to make this dream, running the first half marathon across the Bay Bridge, a reality.

Ever since the renovation of the new Bay Bridge, we’ve had our sights set on a different type of event - one that bucks the status quo and features not only a one-of-a-kind round trip across our famed bridge, but a local, immersive experience with top chefs, merchandise, entertainment and so much more. Even better, our inaugural year just so happens to fall on Cinco de Mayo. It’s going to be an incredible celebration as we revel in making history.
